DO YOU PROVIDE THE ALCOHOL?
No! We do not generally provide you alcohol. Most of our caterings operate under a "dry hire" arrangement, where you provide the alcohol and we handle everything else.
However, we have licensed beverage license holders who we partner with in order to obtain a permit for your event, and thereby provide alcohol. Request a Quote to see which package is best for your event and venue.
CAN YOU CATER ANYWHERE IN ALASKA?
We are based in Anchorage and service from Fairbanks to Homer or beyond with proper arrangements. There is no travel fee for the greater Anchorage area, however we do have a surcharge for venues outside of Anchorage.
It is $1.25/mile for travel RT, and the venue must have a place we can easily drive and park the trailer (if you are renting the trailer). Level ground is preferred, but not completely necessary, as there are stabilizers attached.
DO YOU HAVE A LIQUOR LICENSE?
No, we do not have a liquor license. However, we do have a catering license and event insurance. We are able to get a beverage catering permit for specific events through our partner bars- thus supply the alcohol if you'd like a fully catered bar.
Please make sure to check with your venue before placing any deposits with us in order to ensure they allow the type of alcohol beverages you may be providing.
WHAT DO YOU PROVIDE WITH A FULL BAR CATERING?
We provide everything needed! From the portable bar (or mobile bar), to the drinking water, ice, coolers, mixers, juices, garnishes, bar tools, bartenders, and alcohol (through a licensed dispensary via a permit, if required). Set up and breakdown is included in the cost, and not an charge.
DO YOU OPERATE YEAR ROUND?
Yes! Our trailer is mainly a summer option, however.
ARE YOU AVAILABLE FOR FESTIVALS OR CONCERTS?
Yes! We love doing special events like festivals and concerts. Because we don't have a liquor license, as a standalone trailer we are only able to serve mocktails and fresh juice during festivals and concerts - similar to how you see food trucks operating. If you'd like to rent us out for high volume bartending for your concert or festival, and have a liquor license or special event permit, reach out and let's chat!
HOW DO I KNOW HOW MUCH ALCOHOL TO BUY FOR MY EVENT?
We like to use this alcohol calculator to determine what kind of drinkers will be present, and the general preference of the crowd. It determines the amount of beer/wine/liquor with accuracy, allowing for the least amount of leftover product after your event.
